What is the Blue & Gold?
The Blue & Gold is an annual awards dinner to honor the hard work done all season by the Cub Scouts. At the awards dinner, the Cub Scouts who have completed their achievements set forth in the handbook are awarded their rank advancement patch. The awards dinner is especially important to the second year Webelos because this is when they “cross-over” into Boy Scouts. It is a special event in the Cub Scouting year and families are encouraged to attend!

Time: 12:30pm check in / Program – 1:00pm till 3:30pm
Location: West Valley Inn -
Cost: $15.00 per person ages 5 and over; Cub Scouts $7.00; 4 and under $7.00 per person
Tickets can be purchased from Dave Dowling or Carol Ann Williamson at every pack event.
The deadline to purchase tickets: Pinewood Derby held on Saturday, February 11th at the Coventry Community Center
We will be enjoying a family style dinner of tossed garden salad, macaroni and meatballs, sliced Italian bread and butter, coffee station and cake.

The second year Webelos are looking for business’s to sponsor the Blue & Gold to help keep the cost to a minimum. The sponsor ad’s are listed in the Blue & Gold Program Book that will be handed out to each family. Cost to sponsor is listed below and remember, your sponsorship is tax deductable!
Parents, Grandparents, friends and neighbors, be sure to sign up for a patron wish! These are words of advice and/or best of luck to the scout.
