Popcorn Fundraiser

SCOUTS & PARENTS, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

 Pack 11 will be doing the popcorn fundraiser sponsored by Trails End.  This is to fund the many events the pack will participate in while keeping our pack dues and cost for
each item down to a reasonable amount.

Remember – each Scout that sells popcorn will earn money for his Scout Account to spend on events that he chooses.  A total of 75% commission will be applied towards each Scout that sells.  The Pack will retain 25% commission to maintain the pack finances.

The fundraiser will have 2 parts:

  1. The first is the traditional take home order form where each scout can ask relatives and neighbors to help sponsor them by purchasing popcorn.  In addition, mom and dad can take the order form to work and take popcorn orders there if allowed by their company. You should ALWAYS try to collect the money for the popcorn up front – this is much easier than trying to chase it down later!!!
  2. The second is the Show & Sell’s scheduled at Stop & Shop, Daves & Benny’s – we need each scout to sign up for a time for one to two hour time slots at one of the Show & Sell locations. Matt Lang will be organizing the show & sell time slots.

All  checks for popcorn should be made payable to: Pack 11, Coventry

Popcorn Fundraiser Time-line

  • Take home orders – begins NOW!  Forms were mailed by our Council office.  If you do not have a form or need a second form, call or e-mail Carol Ann Williamson: 595-0119 / cwilliamson10@cox.net
  • Forms & all money are due back on or before October 31st.
  • Distribution of popcorn for the take home orders will be held on Saturday, December 3rd.

Show & Sell schedule:

  1. Benny’s - Saturday, September 24th 9am till 9pm
  2. Stop & Shop, Coventry (supported by Troop 11 – what slots they are unable to fill, we will open to the Pack) – Saturday, October 8th 
  3. Dave’s Market, East Greenwich – Sunday, October 9th
