Every Scout should be in an official Scout uniform. This officia uniform is known as the “Class A” uniform. The uniform can be purchased at the Scout Shop on Route 2, Warwick in the Staples Plaza behind Chili’s. Below is a list of uniform items that need to be purchased. In addition, be sure to check out the additional link for the uniform inspection sheet to show you where the various patches should be sewn on.
In addition, you may purchase a “Class B” uniform t-shirt at every Pack meeting. The Pack 11, Coventry logo is printed on the t-shirt and the cost is $7.50. The turn around is usually 2 weeks for t-shirt sizes that are not in-stock. The Class B uniform is worn on camp outs or other fun event where the Scouts need to be in uniform but we want them to be either more comfortable and/or not dirty the official Class A.
Tiger Cub, Wolf, Bear and
Webelos Cub Scout Uniforms
The Cub Scout uniform consists of the following parts:
- Shirt—The official uniform shirt is available with long or short sleeves and has button-flap pockets and ”Boy Scouts of America” lettered in gold above the right pocket. Tiger through Bear ranks should be in the blue shirt. The Webelos (4th & 5th grade) should wear the official Boy Scout tan shirt.
- Trousers or shorts— Tiger through Bear – Official blue or denim jeans may be worn. Webelos (4th & 5th grade) should wear the Boy Scout green shorts or pants.
- Belt— Tiger through Bear – Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle. Webelos should have the Boy Scout green belt.
- Cap— We suggest purchasing the Pack 11 hat. This will carry the scout through Tiger to Webelos. The hats will be on sale at each pack meeting and are $12.00 per hat. You may purchase the official Cub Scout hats, however they change at each new level and can add up in cost. The official cap is a navy-blue cap with orange front panel and tiger cub emblem for Tiger Cubs, yellow panel and wolf emblem for Wolf Cub Scouts, blue panel and bear emblem for Bear Cub Scouts. Webelos Scouts wear an olive cap with a plain panel bearing the Webelos logo.
- Neckerchief—Triangular neckerchief is orange
with navy-blue trim for Tiger Cubs, gold with navy-blue trim for Wolf Cub
Scouts, light blue with navy-blue trim for Bear Cub Scouts, and plaid for
Webelos Scouts. Official BSA neckerchiefs are the only neckerchiefs boys
should wear. Packs should not make their own pack neckerchiefs for boys. - Neckerchief slide—Official gold-tone metal slide with the Tiger Cub, Cub Scout, or Webelos logo. Boys may wear handmade neckerchief slides.
The patches needed
for the Cub Scout shirt are as follows:
- World Crest

Refer to the uniform inspection sheet just to show you where the patches should be
placed on the official Cub Scout shirt. The other various patches you will see
on the inspection sheet are ones that the scouts can earn over time as they
complete their requirements at each rank.
